Job Description

CWCC, a highly regarded local not-for-profit organization, has been operating since 1997 and continues to grow its services to women and children who are victims of domestic violence, rape, and trafficking. CWCC's mission is to empower of women and girls to claim their universal human rights to personal security and to equal participation in community, civil, economic, social and cultural life through strategic program of Prevention, Protection, Advocacy and Organizational Development.

We have an exciting opportunity for following positions based in Siem Reap and Kampong Thom Provinces. CWCC is seeking to appoint a capable, energetic, and committed person for these positions.

Community Officer (CO): Report to Regional Manager based in Kampong Thom
Salary Range : $ 280 to $ 320 per month excluding other benefits.

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Set work plan and manage project's activities to achieve the project goals.
  • Facilitate community in target area including migrant people to form as self-help & saving group and encourage them to come up with idea about safe migration.
  • Conduct regular meeting with those target community members to come up with their problems/challenges and provide possible solutions.
  • Conduct follow up visit to those target communities to provide coaching and mentoring in working as self-help group.
  • Establish multi stakeholder for sharing and collect information of migrant.
  • Organize training on anti-human trafficking to local duty bearers
  • Conduct training on anti-human trafficking for villagers, especially migrants along the border
  • Responding and innovate to produce IEC material (Video Spot, Poster, Calendar, leaflet or broacher) and create good objective to distribution to community.
  • Build and liaise good relationship with local duty bearers and other stakeholders
  • Write quarterly, semester and annual report
  • Other task as required
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in community development, Sociology or relevant disciplines.
  • At least 2 years experiences in social work particularly, preferable within NGOs.
  • Excellence in oral and written English.
  • Computer literate; Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Willingness to work within a team.
  • Willingness to travel to community area
  • Willingness to work with the community people
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
